YouTube is blocked in China, but here’s how you can access educational videos in English.

I use YouTube a lot as a teacher. Almost every one of my lessons has an educational YouTube video embedded within it. Provided you watch them first and screen them for appropriateness and quality, YouTube videos can’t be beat for homeschool parents or students looking for that little bit extra learning enjoyment!

One of my most favourite YouTube channels is ‘Crash Course’. Crash Course videos are available on almost any elementary or high school subject you can think of. And the best part is – they are available outside of YouTube! PBS Learning Media – the company that produces Crash Course videos in the USA – has given access to all their videos for free online!

So even if you live in China, you can access all of the fantastic Crash Course videos right here: https://www.pbslearningmedia.org/collection/crash-course/

Happy Learning!
